Set up your Brand Kit

The Brand Kit is why the output sounds like you and not like a language model. It is worth the twenty minutes it takes to fill in properly.

The Brand Kit is where scaile learns who you are. Five tabs, but two of them do most of the work, and you can leave the rest until later.

Start on the Brand tab, with "Also known as". Every way your name gets written goes in here. Abbreviations, the legal form, the country variant.

This is not a detail. These aliases are what AI Visibility searches for, and what Social Visibility matches you on. Thanks to this, a mention written differently from your exact stored name still gets credited to you.

Moving now to "Short description", which does the opposite job. It tells you apart from same-name companies, places and so on. Most useful when your brand name is short or a common word.

Further down is your competitor list. Name, domain, their aliases, and a field explaining how you differ. Fill that last one honestly. It is what makes comparison content unique and relatable.

Now let us move to the Writing tab, which is a very important one. "Brand Voice and Tone". Here you can write up to two thousand characters on how your brand sounds, what you lean into, and what you avoid completely.

Underneath it, Author Persona. Think of it as hiring a ghost writer. Describe their qualifications, their field, and how well they know your audience. Do not be vague here, because vague means generic output.

Writing rules are hard constraints. They apply to every article, and they are non-negotiable. This is where a claim you are not allowed to make should be written down.

Below that, preferred and blacklisted sources. Preferred is where you want citations to come from, while blacklisted is where you never want to be seen citing.

And last on this tab, "Writing samples". Your best two on-brand pieces, and your worst two. The article agent learns your voice from these, and the interface is explicit that it learns from these only.

The Design tab can pull your identity straight from your website. But one thing still to check by hand is that each colour carries a role. Accent, neutral, surface. The role is what tells the agent where the colour belongs.

Last thing. scaile proposes updates to all of this as it learns more about you. You can choose to apply them or discard them. Nothing changes underneath you without a click.

That is the Brand Kit. Next we fill the Knowledge Base, which carries your facts rather than your voice.
